According to www.observer.com, famous actress and former model, the wife of Ellen DeGeneres Portia de Rossi is working on the memoir.

The head of the William Morris Agency has already begun sending out proposals from Portia to book editors, including a writing sample relating to her highly-publicized battle with anorexia, which was at its worst during her Ally McBeal (popular American TV series) days.

Portia’s memoir will start with her interesting childhood, when she was still just Amanda Lee Rogers in Australia. It will also include the story of her first marriage — to a documentary filmmaker Mel Metcalfe, and will focus on her struggle with coming to terms with her sexuality to live as a lesbian.
