As you may know, Prop 8 is a law that was passed in 2008, and it protects all the rights of the “traditional marriage”, between a man and a woman. Basically, Prop 8 is the only one which prevents gay men/lesbian women from getting married. On 4th of August, it was handed down and now, LGBT people from California are free to get married once again.

After a long trial, Prop 8 was considered to be against the constitution because in judge`s, marriages between same sex couples shouldn`t be banned.
