The premiere of the fiction, big screen treatment Garbo is going to take place in US by 2010, www.afterellen.com informs. The movie will show the life of the cinema-diva of the Hollywood's Golden Age of 20-30-es, legendary Greta Garbo.
The film, directed by the famous American filmmaker, producer, writer and composer Buddy Bregman, is currently in production in Germany.
The role of Garbo is played by Anna-Karin Eskilsson who like her screen prototype is the Swedish-born, New York-based actress. Eskilsson has had small, largely cameo roles in films like The Wrestler (2008) and Sex and the City movie (2008).
According to www.imdb.com, the Garbo film will describe the private life of the actress, including her relationship with fellow screen legend Marlene Dietrich, writer Mercedes De Acosta and
Vogue designer Cecil Beaton.
